We’re looking for a taproom server/bartender to join our team as we prepare to open our BRAND NEW TAPROOM! Our taproom server/bartenders are paid very competitively at $7/hour plus tips. This is a position that is awesome for someone looking to pick up some extra hours or a student. There is also room for potential advancement as we are a growing and exciting brand. Applicants with a passion for craft beverages are preferred. Mead/bartending experience is not required but you must be a fast learner and able to operate independently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Educating customers on mead, it’s history and our approach.
-The ability to learn and then communicate about the mead category, it’s styles, and how we craft our meads is imperative
-Guiding customers through mead tastings
-Retail sales of mead and other merchandise
-Opening/closing and tap room admin responsibilities
-Cleaning/organization around the taproom -Merchandising
-We will be featuring a small cocktail menu so bartending experience is preferred!
Weekend Availability is a MUST.

Candidates must have reliable transportation, be punctual, have great communication and customer service skills, and be able to efficiently perform tasks. Ideal candidates will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment while maintaining professional standards. The new menu at the Taproom will include pizzas, appetizers, salads, desserts, and more.
This position is for evening & weekends (Wednesday – Sunday, 4:00 – 10:00). We offer competitive wages based upon experience ($12-$15 per hour) as well as flexibility in scheduling. A unique aspect of our business is our kitchen staff will be eligible for their own tip pool and WILL RECEIVE TIPS!
Duties:
-Interacting with customers to take orders at our food window, answer questions regarding menu items, & up-sell when possible
-Preparing & cooking pizza and other menu items to specifications in a timely and efficient manner
-Communicating with management regarding inventory, customer needs, any issues with workflow or preparation
-Maintaining a clean working environment, while upholding safety standards
-Complete all closing duties according to policy

-Basic math/measurement skills needed for portioning ingredients and cashiering
-Ability to follow standardized recipes for consistent quality and service

Crafted Artisan Meadery is moving our operations into a newly renovated facility and opening a brand new, innovative meadery taproom and production facility dedicated to crafting exceptional meads while providing fantastic food options. Our taproom will feature our house produced meads, guest craft beers, cocktail and a delicious offering of pizzas, salads and shareables. We are passionate about delivering top-notch customer experiences and are seeking a dedicated Food Runner/Barback to join our dynamic team.
As a Food Runner/Barback at Crafted, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation between our taproom and kitchen. You will be responsible for supporting both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to provide our guests with an exceptional brand experience. Your primary focus will be delivering food to tables, assisting bartenders, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Delivery:
- Promptly deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables.
- Ensure accuracy in order delivery and address any guest inquiries or requests.
Bar Assistance:
- Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
- Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
Customer Service:
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and answering questions as required.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our patrons.
Support for Kitchen Staff:
- Assist kitchen staff by running food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables.
- Help with food preparation tasks as needed
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Keep the bar area and dining space clean and well-organized.
- Perform regular cleaning duties, including dishwashing and clearing empty glassware and plates.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Willingness to learn about meads and our menu offerings.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends as needed.

The main feature of the new menu at the Taproom will be our specialty pizzas, so strong attention to detail is essential!
This is a part-time position for mornings & weekends (Wednesday – Sunday, 8:00 – 1:00). We offer competitive wages based on experience as well as flexibility in scheduling. We offer a unique benefit in where our kitchen staff will have their own tip pool and will be ELIGIBLE TO MAKE TIPS!

-Mixing, measuring, and sheeting all pizza dough in preparation for dinner service

Want to join a team of awesome people to help bring our modern mead to the masses? We are looking for an assistant cellarperson/packaging lead! This is an entry level position and you will report directly to the head meadmaker. In this role you will gain experience in all aspect of operations.
The ideal candidate will be used to hard work and have the following responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitizing meadery equipment (tanks, pumps, hoses, packaging equipment)
- Filtering setup
- Ingredient processing
- Packaging – setup and operation of bottling machine, labeling machine and canning line
- Assisting head meadmaker in all tasks as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- A passion for craft beverages
- Able to follow instructions and quickly learn new skills
- An eye for quality assurance
- Familiarity with sanitary conditions and ensuring they are met – – cleanliness is critical
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility is important for this job which will start by requiring 2-3 days at a minimum per week though these days can vary depending on our production and packaging schedule. This position affords the opportunity to grow into a full time role as we move into our new tap room and production facility.
