SESSION MEAD

The ancient Mayans held both honey and chocolate as sacred. The Mayan word for honey, kab’, also meant “world” (we like the way these Mayans think). Used for culinary and ritualistic purposes these two items were of the utmost importance to their culture and economy. Today, we’ve combined these ingredients with cinnamon, vanilla and a bit of heat from light additions of ancho and guajillo chiles. Enjoy this modern take on an ancient beverage…just don’t lose your head.
